What it does
TAJ Mobile is Tax Administration Jamaica's official government payment app, letting citizens and businesses pay property tax, motor vehicle fitness fees, traffic tickets, and police record fees directly from their phone without visiting a tax office. It also lets users view payment history, get real-time alerts, look up taxpayer information, and locate the nearest TAJ office, logging in with the same credentials used on the TAJ web portal (jamaicatax.gov.jm).
The web-based TAJ Portal (the "Virtual Tax Office") offers a broader e-services set including Tax Compliance Certificate applications and tax filing; the mobile app was found only on Google Play during research (no confirmed App Store listing), so it may currently be Android-only.
