RADA
Rural Agricultural Development Authority app for farm visit requests and farmer support
By Rural Agricultural Development Authority (RADA)
What it does
The RADA app, launched by the Rural Agricultural Development Authority in November 2023, lets registered and unregistered farmers request farm visits from RADA Extension Officers, report farm issues and document farm information. It also pushes updates on workshops and training, crop-management techniques, pest-control guidance and sustainable-farming practices across six in-app modules.
RADA is a Jamaican government agency under the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Mining responsible for agricultural extension services. The app is only available on Google Play; it has not been released for iOS.
