Jamaica Special Economic Zone Authority
Register of Jamaica's special economic zone entities plus online SEZ status applications
By Jamaica Special Economic Zone Authority
What it does
The Jamaica Special Economic Zone Authority was established in 2016 under the Special Economic Zones Act to develop and promote investment in Jamaica's special economic zones. Its site handles the regulatory work: an SRMI portal gives registered entities and applicants access to administrative functions, and an online application route, application kits and published fee schedules cover the different categories of SEZ status.
The public register side lists registered special economic zone entities operating across Jamaica, stakeholder clusters, available space inventory across the zones, and public disclosure documents. A directory of certified SEZ professionals, including attorneys, real estate agents, consultants and engineers, is published for prospective investors.
Resources include annual reports, advisory notes and legislative guidance, a knowledge centre, an Export Academy platform, and news and event coverage. The Authority's office is at 13 Waterloo Road, Kingston 10. Applications and SEZ status carry fees.
