The Jamaica Customs Agency site collects the agency's transactional tools in one place. Its Integrated Tariff Search lets importers look up commodity codes and the duties that apply to them, and the What's My Duty estimator calculates the taxes payable on an item before it is shipped. Travellers use the electronic C5 passenger declaration to complete the mandatory arrival form before landing in Jamaica.
For trade users the site links the ASYCUDA World declaration portal, the JSWIFT single window, an online payments gateway, track and trace for declarations and bills of lading, and online booking for valuation and verification appointments. A trade statistics database and a forms and documents repository are published alongside them.
The agency also runs an auction portal through the site for the sale of overtime goods, and points users to its JA Customs Connect mobile app. Use of the search, estimator and information tools is free; duties and auction purchases are separate transactions.
