INDECOM
Report complaints against Jamaica's security forces and read INDECOM's reports
By Independent Commission of Investigations
What it does
The Independent Commission of Investigations, INDECOM, investigates actions by members of Jamaica's security forces and other agents of the state that result in death, injury or abuse of rights. Its website carries a report a complaint or incident route so that a member of the public can lodge a matter directly, backed by two toll free incident hotlines on the FLOW and Digicel networks.
The Commission publishes on a fixed cycle. Quarterly reports track security force activity, with the most recent covering July to September 2025, and standalone reports such as the 2026 compilation on security forces fatal shootings are issued alongside them. Press releases announce investigations and legal outcomes as they occur, and a media section carries news and articles.
The Commission is at 1 Dumfries Road, Kingston 10, reachable at [email protected]. Reporting and reading the reports are free.
