What it does
The Financial Services Commission is Jamaica's integrated regulator for the securities, insurance and private pensions industries. Its site publishes the registers of entities it licenses: insurance companies and intermediaries, investment managers and pension administrators, registered retirement schemes, and securities dealers and investment advisers, both individual and corporate, under a "who is licensed" directory that lets the public check a broker, adviser or firm before dealing with them.
