Child Protection and Family Services Agency

The Child Protection and Family Services Agency is the Jamaican government body responsible for child protection, family support and the care of children in state custody. Its site carries the National Children's Registry, the channel through which cases of child abuse are reported, and an Ananda Alert SMS subscription that sends notifications when a child is reported missing.

Applications and process material are published in full: adoption forms, foster care forms with an accompanying FAQ, details of the Living in Family Environments programme, listings and contacts for government and private residential child care facilities, registration requirements for children's homes, and a payment receipt route for agency fees.

The site also publishes annual reports, legislation, access to information material, tender and procurement notices, career listings, promotional and resource centre materials, and pages on counselling services, intake, investigation and court services, overseas investigations, police lock up surveillance and primary prevention programmes. A donation route is provided. Use of the site is free.
