What it does
DoRoad is an independent (not government-affiliated) Jamaican public-transportation app that helps commuters plan trips combining JUTC buses, route taxis, minibuses, coasters and walking across Kingston, St Andrew and the rest of the island. It shows possible routes, where to board and transfer, nearby bus stops and taxi stands, schedules and fares, and lets users save favourite routes and stops.
The Jamaica Urban Transit Company (JUTC) itself does not appear to publish its own native app: its official site (jutc.gov.jm) relies on Google Transit integration for schedules, making third-party tools like DoRoad the main dedicated mobile option for JUTC riders.
