What it does
Xplore Jamaica was launched November 24, 2021 by the Tourism Product Development Company (TPDCo), an agency of the Jamaica Tourist Board, as a free official travel guide app. It lists TPDCo-approved accommodations, attractions, restaurants, bike/car rentals, tour operators, water sports and other places of interest across all six Jamaican resort areas (106 tourism entities at launch), with a cost estimator, travel blog, and content available in nine languages.
At launch it was available on Google Play with iOS support planned to follow; the App Store listing (published by Tourism Product Development Company Ltd.) has since gone live, so both platforms are now confirmed.
