Ackeemeter

Ackeemeter is a public marketplace of Jamaican tourism services across every parish, covering eight kinds of listing: tours, stays, transfers, rides, activities, attractions, rentals and events. It targets the small, often unmarketed operators, farm-tour guides, airport-transfer drivers, guesthouse and villa managers, rafting and ATV outfits, who otherwise sell over WhatsApp and phone. A traveller adds services from different operators into one day-by-day itinerary and books the whole trip at once; the system prices each leg and confirms bookings across all the separate businesses together, so either every stop is booked or none is.

Operators get a dashboard with plain-English navigation to list and manage services, take bookings, build custom guest forms per service, and set up partnerships that let one operator offer another's service as an add-on. Agencies and planners can compose an itinerary for a client and share it as a clean public link with contact details stripped out. The system is built as five services, identity, catalog, booking, itinerary and network, over Postgres, with money stored as whole cents and a single Jamaica-timezone day-math module shared by pricing and availability so a booking can never be quoted at one price and checked against a different day.

Ackeemeter is live and works end to end, but it is an early-stage showcase deployment filled entirely with seeded demo listings: it has not onboarded real operators or travellers yet, takes no in-app card payments (payment is handled off-platform, on arrival, by invoice, or externally), and deliberately charges no fees for now.
