What it does
The UWI Press app is an ebook and audiobook reader for titles purchased from uwipress.com. Readers log in with the email used at checkout, verify with a one-time code, and access purchased content offline in a "My Books" library. It is built on the white-label Glassboxx reading platform rather than custom software.
The UWI Press is the scholarly publishing arm of The University of the West Indies, headquartered at the Mona campus in Kingston, and serves the wider UWI system across the English-speaking Caribbean. The app launched in 2023 and is available on both the App Store and Google Play.
