What it does
The Student Administration System is the Ellucian Banner self service portal for the University of the West Indies Mona campus, reached at ban.mona.uwi.edu on port 9077. It is the system through which applicants submit undergraduate and postgraduate applications, review application status and respond to admission offers, and through which enrolled students manage personal information.
Course registration runs on Banner 9 within the same system, with published guides for adding courses, requesting overrides and using the plan ahead feature for future semesters. Other functions listed include change of major or status requests and status letter requests for undergraduates, with tuition payment routed to an external payment service.
It sits alongside, rather than replacing, the campus eServices site used for transcripts and fee payment and the OurVLE learning environment used for course materials.
