What it does
The Students' Loan Bureau (SLB) is Jamaica's statutory tertiary-education loan agency. Its website lets applicants complete a loan application entirely online, upload supporting documents, and track their application status through a customer portal (email and password login, with OTP-based password reset), replacing paper-based application at parish offices.
The annual application cycle opens each June. The site is actively maintained with a dedicated status-tracking tool and separate customer-portal login, making it a genuine self-service channel rather than an informational page alone.
