What it does
STEM Builders Learning Hub is an online tutoring and resource platform connecting Jamaican and wider Caribbean students, aged roughly 3 to 17, with STEM tutors, free workshops, and paid science, robotics and coding kits and courses. Teachers and schools can also access curriculum support and professional development resources through the site.
Founded by science educator Kavelle Hylton and launched in July 2020, the Hub received support through the Development Bank of Jamaica's IGNITE grant programme. It functions more as an education service with an online booking and resource layer than a fully self-serve SaaS product, so pricing and specific offerings are handled through direct contact with the organization rather than a checkout flow.
