What it does

The School-To-Work Transition Initiative is a joint project of UNICEF and the Special Education Unit of Jamaica's Ministry of Education and Youth. It runs as an online course platform rather than a brochure site, delivering module based training on planning transition programmes for youth with disabilities.

Courses at /courses are grouped by audience, with separate tracks for parents, educators and school staff, starting from an introduction module. A resource library at /resources holds workshop materials and downloadable guides, and there is a community of practice section for practitioners.

Users sign in through a login in the navigation bar, with password recovery at /dashboard/retrieve-password, so enrolled participants have persistent accounts and progress rather than open access alone.
