What it does
The Primary Exit Profile portal is the education ministry's site for Jamaica's primary school exit assessment, which replaced the earlier common entrance arrangements. It explains what the assessment is, publishes the exam calendar with a countdown, and carries frequently asked questions and messages from the ministry team.
For parents the portal provides PEP past papers, a school selection facility, a registration manual, scholarship information and a parent helpline. Student sections are organised by grade for grades four, five and six, with online lessons, and teacher sections carry classroom resources in language arts and mathematics, special needs material and general education resources.
The National Standards Curriculum is published on the portal in grade bands covering grades one to three, four to six and seven to nine, and there is a section for publishers alongside a test preparation booklet and other downloadable PEP resources.
