What it does

Pocket-Attorney is a legal access app for Jamaica. A user photographs or uploads a letter, notice, agreement or court document and the app explains in plain language what it says, then offers a paid private video consultation with a vetted attorney through a feature the listing calls Counsel Now, with the fee shown before the call connects.

Besides the document scanner it carries an AI chat that answers general questions in a Jamaican legal context, a guided document builder and step by step guides to common legal procedures. The app is free to download and charges through one off token bundles, with an optional monthly subscription that tops up a token wallet, while consultations are billed separately.

The listing states the product was built in Jamaica for Jamaicans at home and in the diaspora, and it is careful to say it is not a law firm and that the attorneys are independent. It is published by Brian Forsythe as an individual developer, first released in September 2025 and at version 1.10 in September 2026.
