Amber Connect

Amber Connect began, by its own account, as "a one room operation in Kingston, Jamaica with a single hardware [device] and consumer mobile app" and has grown into a vehicle-tracking and telematics company with international reach, part of the Amber Group family of companies (alongside Amber Pay). It installs a GPS tracking device in a vehicle that streams real-time location and driving data to companion consumer and fleet apps.

The consumer app offers 40+ features including real-time tracking, instant alerts, and remote engine disable for security; the "Amber Fleet Connect" business app adds a fleet-management dashboard with analytics, alerts, and per-driver monitoring, aimed at businesses managing vehicle fleets. Amber Connect markets itself as the first in its industry to apply AI to GPS tracking, and maintains a Kingston office (Haining Road) alongside its global operations.
