OurVLE

OurVLE is a student-built mobile app (with an open-source iOS version by developer Javon Davis, and an Android build referenced on app catalog sites) that gives University of the West Indies (UWI) Mona students a native mobile interface to OurVLE, the university's customized Moodle installation at ourvle.mona.uwi.edu. It surfaces course content, forum posts, file downloads, and notifications for course events, using Material Design.

It is intended exclusively for UWI Mona students in Kingston, Jamaica. Because it originates from student/community developers rather than the university's official IT department, availability and maintenance status should be treated as unofficial. During this review, both the App Store listing (id1148434734) and the Google Play listing (com.stoneapp.ourvlemoodle2) returned 404 on every region checked, so neither store is listed as a live platform; only the open-source GitHub repository remains confirmed. Status is marked discontinued and confidence is medium pending confirmation of any currently live distribution channel.
