What it does

Drug Serv is the National Health Fund's public pharmacy network, described on the NHF site as 106 locations across Jamaica served either full time or on a schedule. The page carries a filterable directory of those locations, grouped so a user can pick a parish and read back facility names, addresses and telephone numbers.

The same page sets out the ways a prescription can reach a Drug Serv counter without queueing: photographing and submitting it through the NHF App, using a Quick Prescript kiosk at selected sites for patients without a smartphone, a scheduled refill system for repeat prescriptions, and a drop off and pick up service where the patient is told when to collect. It also notes that the NHF has contracted selected private pharmacies to dispense to public patients. The nhf.org.jm host returned 403 to direct automated fetches, so confidence is medium.
