NHF App (Quick Prescript)
Submit prescriptions by photo to Jamaica's Drug Serv pharmacies for pickup.
What it does
The NHF App, originally launched as "Quick Prescript" by Jamaica's National Health Fund in April 2018, lets patients photograph and upload a public prescription instead of physically dropping it at a pharmacy. Once submitted, the prescription is routed to a Drug Serv pharmacy of the patient's choosing, and the patient is notified via in-app live chat when the medication is ready for pickup.
For patients without a smartphone or mobile data, the NHF also deployed Quick Prescript kiosks at select Drug Serv pharmacies and public health clinics across the island. The app is free and available on both Google Play and the App Store (the App Store listing is now published as "NHF App"; the Google Play package still uses the original com.quickprescript.app identifier).
