What it does
NCB Pay is NCB Jamaica's digital wallet app that digitises existing NCB Visa and Mastercard credit/prepaid cards for NFC tap-to-pay purchases at POS terminals, using a registered fingerprint or NCB Pay PIN for authentication. It launched in 2023 and, at launch, was Android-only (NCB said an iOS version was being worked on).
It is distinct from both NCB Mobile (the account/transfer banking app) and Lynk (NCB's separate standalone digital wallet), instead functioning specifically as a contactless card-tap replacement.
