JPS & Partners Mobile

JPS & Partners Mobile is the mobile banking app of JPS Employees Co-operative Credit Union Limited, the credit union that grew out of the Jamaica Public Service employee membership and now serves partner groups as well. The store listing says enrolled users can obtain balances for special deposit savings, shares and loan accounts, view recent transactions, transfer funds between their own accounts, transfer to approved third party accounts inside the credit union, transfer to accounts at other financial institutions in Jamaica, add beneficiaries, pay approved payees and top up mobile phone credit.

Only accounts that have been enabled for online banking are reachable through the app, so the mobile app sits on top of the credit union's existing internet banking enrolment. The Android build additionally mentions appointment booking.

The app is built on the MSD mobile banking platform from Micro Software Designs Limited, which supplies the same product to several other Caribbean credit unions, and is published on the App Store under the credit union's own developer account.
