What it does
JBDC Biz Wiz is an online learning platform launched March 5, 2026 by the Jamaica Business Development Corporation (JBDC), a government agency under the Ministry of Industry, Investment and Commerce. It lets entrepreneurs complete self-paced training covering product development, marketing, financial management, and digital transformation.
Biz Wiz sits alongside JBDC's broader "Digital Jamaica" initiative (launched 2023, funded by the Government of Jamaica and the EU), which trained roughly 1,200 entrepreneurs island-wide in its first year (2024-2025) on tools spanning e-payments, payroll, HR systems, CRM, e-commerce, contracts, invoicing and vendor management, all free to registered micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) via jbdc.net/digitaljamaica.
