What it does
Jamlite POS is a point-of-sale and business management system built by Kingston-based Jamlite Innovations Limited for Jamaican retailers, restaurants, hotels, grocery stores and convenience stores. It covers sales, inventory, table-side ordering, mobile sales and delivery, and payroll processing from a single package, and the company also offers BPO services alongside the software.
Jamlite describes itself as the first POS software in Jamaica built to accept digital payment, and it integrates with Lynk's digital wallet so merchants can accept QR-code payments; the company has said more than 80 retail, wholesale and hospitality businesses use that integration. It markets the product to small and mid-sized Jamaican businesses rather than enterprise chains.
