Flash POS is the merchant side companion to the Flash account, turning a phone or tablet into a checkout terminal for shops and market stalls. It takes payment either by NFC card tap or by presenting a QR code for the customer to scan, so a merchant can accept digital payment without buying a card terminal.
The app is published by Island Bitcoin, the same developer behind the Flash consumer wallet, which is built on Bitcoin and the Lightning Network using Galoy infrastructure and the Blink wallet codebase. The Flash site describes the wider product set as Caribbean built, with US and euro virtual accounts, transfers, local currency cash out and a developer API alongside the point of sale.
The iOS listing was first released in September 2025. The consumer Flash wallet is catalogued separately.
