What it does
EduFocal is a Kingston-based social learning platform launched on March 15, 2012 by founder/CEO Gordon Swaby and co-founder/lead developer Paul Allen. It offers over 15,000 practice questions for Jamaica's Primary Exit Profile (PEP) exam and the regional Caribbean Secondary Education Certificate (CSEC) exams, presented with RPG-style gamification (experience points, levelling up, unlockable rewards) to keep students engaged.
The platform partners with over 100 schools in Jamaica for classroom integration and has expanded regionally, including a partnership to support Trinidad & Tobago's SEA and CSEC students. It is accessed via the web at edufocal.com; there is no dedicated mobile app listing.
