What it does

Docuity Rx is free prescribing software, part of the Docuity suite, built so the safety check is part of writing a prescription rather than a separate step someone has to remember. A prescriber adds each medicine with its dose and the app checks the whole draft, every medicine against every other medicine and against the patient's recorded allergies, using a vocabulary of more than 2,100 real drugs, flagging anything it cannot confidently identify as not checked rather than folding it into a quiet all-clear.

Issuing a prescription requires a real medical-council registration number on file, at least one medicine listed, and blocks controlled substances outright in this version, with that block running as a separate offline check that fails closed even if the interaction service is unreachable. A finished prescription can be printed, saved as a PDF, or sent to a pharmacy the practice has invited, and a QR code on the printout lets anyone confirm it is genuine without exposing the patient's details.

Docuity Rx is launched for Jamaica's private-prescription format; controlled substances are not supported yet, and like the rest of the suite it makes no HIPAA-certification, SOC 2, or Business Associate Agreement claim. The interaction check is an aid to a prescriber's judgement, not a replacement for it.
