What it does
The Bank of Jamaica's foreign exchange section is the central bank's public tool for checking currency rates: counter rates, daily FX spot trading summaries, midday rates, indicative rates, and a searchable historical archive with data export. It is the reference point commercial banks, money-service businesses and the public use to confirm the day's official exchange rates.
The tools are read-only market data and lookups rather than a place to transact, but they are actively maintained (rates published daily) and are the authoritative government source for FX rate information in Jamaica.
