What it does
JamPack'd is a shop for Jamaican care packages, sending snacks, sweets, seasonings and pantry favourites to customers abroad. It is aimed at the diaspora and at anyone wanting a taste of the island, offering curated gift bundles, single items and the option to build a custom box, with order tracking and delivery.
The service runs both as a website and as an iOS shopping app. In the app customers browse the range, assemble a box, check out and follow the order with live updates, and the same catalogue backs the store site.
It was built by the Jamaican developer Paul Smith. The download is free, the app is an iPad first build that also runs on iPhone, Mac with Apple silicon and Apple Vision, and requires iOS 13 or later. No Android release was found, so the platforms recorded are iOS and web.
