What it does
HireMeJA is a job portal for Jamaica that lists vacancies by parish and category. The listing page carries a job filter, and each posting shows the employer, the parish, the posting and approval dates, a salary range where the employer supplied one, and an expiry countdown. Postings pass through an approval step before they appear, which is reflected in the approved date shown on each card.
Job seekers can save a listing, open the full detail page, or use a quick apply action. Some postings attach screening questions that an applicant answers as part of the application. At time of research the board showed six live postings, drawn from employers in Kingston across property management, sales, administration and promotions, with dates in July and September 2026.
The site is a single page application backed by Firebase, and it separates candidate and employer sides. Its operating company is not named on the public pages, so confidence on ownership is medium even though the board itself is clearly live and accepting applications.
