What it does
GiftMe is a digital gift-card marketplace and rewards app from Gift Tech Limited, a company registered in Kingston. Users buy, send and store electronic gift cards from more than 350 Jamaican merchants (restaurants, pharmacies, supermarkets, retailers) for instant delivery by SMS or email, and can also pay bills and top up mobile credit through the app, earning cashback and loyalty points along the way. A separate GiftMe for Merchants app lets store staff redeem cards presented in person.
The company also runs a corporate product, GiftMe Corporate, that lets businesses issue large batches of gift cards (up to 50,000 at once) to staff or customers. GiftMe is available on iOS and Android and reports working with over 100 companies on the corporate side.
